Family & Children's Center is one of northern Indiana's major non-profit human services agencies. Founded as an orphanage in 1882, today Family & Children's Center is leading the way to better lives for thousands of children and families throughout the region.

The mission of Family & Children's Center is to provide programs and services designed to strengthen children, families and others entrusted to our care. Family & Children's Center's affiliates provide a wide range of important human services, including:

• The Children's Campus
  Provides home-based and residential treatment for severely emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and their families in a family-centered Continuum of Treatment tradition.
  
• Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County
  A youth development organization which provides afterschool programs to enhance, encourage, and support all youth. Our Mission is to be "A Positive Place For Kids" that creates opportunities for members to enjoy their childhood while preparing for responsible adulthood.
  
• Family & Children's Center Counseling and Development Services
  Dedicated to empowering individuals and families by promoting human growth and dignity and preventing abuse through advocacy, education, counseling and supportive services.
• Holy Cross Counseling Group
  Specializes in therapy services for those affected by sexual trauma. This group provides counseling services in a wide range of problematic areas, specializing in all areas of sexual assault, including sexual addiction. Certified therapists provide treatment programs that are confidential, comprehensive and effective.
